During this 3-part financial literacy series, you will be equipped with the foundational knowledge and practical skills needed to manage your finances responsibly and plan for the future. From setting up and utilizing the right financial accounts to tracking money effectively and making informed financial decisions, these presentations aim to teach you how to take control of your financial well-being and build a solid financial future.
Session 1: Correct Account Set-Up and Financial Account Usage-In this presentation, we'll delve into the essentials of setting up the right financial accounts for you, including checking and savings accounts. We'll explore how to manage and use these accounts effectively to build a solid financial foundation and avoid common financial pitfalls.
Session 2: Tracking Money and Utilizing Budgeting Software-This session will guide you on how to effectively track your income and expenses using budgeting tools and software tailored for students. We'll provide practical tips on how to create and maintain a budget, allowing you to take control of your finances, set achievable goals, and develop healthy spending habits for the future.
Session 3: Using Financial Knowledge for Future Decisions- In our final presentation, we'll discuss the importance of leveraging your newfound financial literacy to make informed decisions about managing income and expenses, saving, managing debt, managing risks, and investing, as you transition into post-graduate life and beyond. We'll teach you to apply these financial principles to achieve long-term financial stability and success, while having the freedom to work toward your purpose.
