As part of our land-grant mission, our hope is to bring purpose work to all West Virginia communities to help them grow and thrive. While we are not yet in the community rollout phase, we have begun doing some pilot work with a variety of partners.

WVU Extension and 4-H Partnership
In summer of 2023, the Purpose Center partnered with WVU Extension and West Virginia 4-H to bring strengths-based learning and workshops to three state summer camps at Jackson’s Mill. Since then, the Purpose Center in partnership with WVU Extension has continued strengths-based learning with students, faculty, and staff in these spaces.
Purpose and Strengths for Community Organizations
