Cate Schlobohm
Cate Schlobohm is the outreach and programming manager within the WVU Purpose Center. She has more than 12 years of experience working in various facets of higher education, including undergraduate and graduate recruitment, marketing and communications, K12 STEM outreach, student development and management of visitors’ experiences on campus. In 2022, Cate’s experiences and passions led her to become a Gallup-certified CliftonStrengths® coach where she focuses on helping students, faculty, staff, alumni and community partners identify their natural talents and develop them into strengths through a variety of lenses from well-being to leadership in both academic and career settings. Cate has had opportunities to share her expertise regarding Strengths in an academic setting at the national level and with community partners locally and state-wide.
Cate is a two-time WVU alum, graduating with both degrees from the Reed College of Media. She resides in Morgantown with her husband, two young children, and Labradoodle, Cliff.
